Are you experiencing discomfort such as stomach pain, bloating, or diarrhea after eating? These symptoms could be indicative of food intolerance or sensitivity to certain substances.

To identify the potential triggers behind your issues, we offer the comprehensive Food and Pet Sensitivity Test. This test examines your sensitivity to a wide range of common food items, including lactose, eggs, peanuts, gluten, yeast, soy, fish, shellfish, corn, and more.

Unlike allergies, food sensitivity or intolerance may not produce immediate symptoms. They can manifest as a reaction to digested food over time.

In addition to food sensitivity testing, our service includes a Pet Dander Test. This analysis assesses your sensitivity to pet dander, which encompasses fur, hair, or feathers, using your genetic markers.

Furthermore, the test evaluates your genetic markers to determine your ability to break down excess histamine, a compound commonly found in fermented foods like wine.

Through DNA analysis of 30 genetic markers (SNPs), our testing service identifies your genetic predisposition to specific food items and substances. The test covers various food categories, including gluten, lactose, cow milk protein, eggs, peanuts, histamine, pet dander, and other foods such as tree nuts, soy, soybean, corn, yeast, fish, shrimp, and apples.

By delving into these genetic markers, the test provides valuable insights into your body’s response to specific foods and substances, aiding in understanding and managing potential sensitivities.

How to Test for Intolerance and Sensitivity

Once your order is confirmed, we will promptly dispatch a DNA testing kit to the address you have provided. The kit includes all the necessary materials for collecting your oral swab samples.

Within the kit, you will find a comprehensive set of instructions. However, to provide you with a brief overview, here are the steps to follow:

  1. Retrieve the swabs from the enclosed envelope.
  2. Gently rub the swabs against the inner cheek of your mouth.
  3. Allow the swabs to air dry completely.
  4. Carefully place the dried swabs back into their designated envelopes.
  5. Use the pre-printed return envelope to send the samples back to us.

By adhering to these instructions, you will ensure proper sample collection, facilitating the accurate analysis of your DNA.

The Results of the Test

Upon completion of the Food and Pet Sensitivity Test, you will receive a detailed report that provides comprehensive insights into the specific allergens you are sensitive to. This report serves as a valuable resource, offering dietary suggestions, recommended food substitutions, and supplement recommendations tailored to your sensitivities.

In some cases, an inconclusive result may occur, indicating that the laboratory could not definitively determine whether you have a sensitivity. This can happen if the necessary alleles or genes related to the sensitivities were not detected during the analysis.

Please note that results will be made available approximately six weeks after our laboratory confirms receipt of your samples. We strive to provide accurate and timely results to assist you in understanding and managing your food and pet sensitivities effectively.
